My name is Helen Knight and I was born on 21st June 1986.
I have had an amazing life so far. Between the age of 7 and 19 I was a member of the Bristol Schools' Chamber Choir and travelled all over the country for competitions and even went on tour to America. I stayed with an American family, went to an American High School for a few days, busked in Central Park, and sang in Dunkin' Donuts one night for free Doughnuts! I've met some wonderful people, been to amazing places and enjoyed every minute of it.
The downside is that I suffer from Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. In 2007 I was hit quite badly by it and struggled to walk for few years. I became so tired I couldn't leave my bed and often slept through entire weekends. It was the lowest time of my life so far but thankfully I'm recovering well from that episode and I'm on the up again.
I've always had feelings and experiences I couldn't explain and in July 2012, after years of careful consideration, I joined a Development Circle to seriously work on my gift. You can read about the experiences that influenced my decision on my Past Experiences page.
